This print is packed with trivia and facts from 16 years ago. It's a mix of television, sport, movies, famous births, music, money and historical events. 

The recipient's name and birth date appear in the centre of the design. The print is a little bit of their personal history - it's the world they were born into.

(3) The Top Ten Records From 16 Years Ago: Chart Music On The Day You Were Born

What music was at the top of the UK charts on the day you were born? The answer to this very important question appears on this print! We find out the top ten singles from the UK charts on any date 16 years ago and show them as a record label on this custom music print design. 

The personalisation options on this print include the chance to add a long message in tiny text all the way round the bottom of the label - on real LPs this text is usually used for legal messages but you can make your message much more interesting!

(4) Personalised 16th Birthday Abstract Art Year and Date Prints

We've used a very simple idea to create these prints: replace numbers with colours.Is that simple enough? We then use the colours to create the print. Since dates are often written using just numbers (i.e. no words), they're perfect for this unique kind of custom abstract art print.

It's easy to see what we do using an example...

• The date 4th March 1962 can be written as 04031962
• Allocate each number a colour then print the colours in the same sequence as the date (see the picture below) - the sequence of colours is different for every date so you get a unique artwork for every date
• At the bottom of the print, we print the colour and its number in a series of little circles 
• For a 16th birthday gift you could print their date of birth or the date of their 16th birthday

These custom art prints may appeal to someone with an interest in science, computing or mathsbecause they'll already be familiar with the idea of presenting numerical information in a visual way.

In computing, presenting data visually - like flow charts, for example - often makes things easier to understand.
